Tulip Dimensional Paint Quote Art Mother's Day Tote

Quote Art Mother's Day Tote

Looking for Mother's Day gift ideas? How about a personalized tote bag made just for her? Moms - because they're moms and are pretty much always prepared - tend to sometimes need bigger bags for grocery shopping, carting around extra items for kids, family trips and more. A quote art tote bag personalized for your mom will bring a smile to her face every time she gets out her specially made tote for errands or everyday use. Scribble & Script shows you how to use Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint for an extra way to make your mom's new favorite bag stand out! What you need: - Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paints in desired colors - Tote bag - Cardboard or freezer paper to fit inside bag - Paper towels - Desired quote - Pencil/chalk pencil - Iron First iron any wrinkles out of the tote bag for a completely smooth painting surface. Insert a piece of cardboard or freezer paper (wax side up) inside of the tote bag to help prevent any paint from soaking through to the backside. (If using freezer paper, iron over the top layer of the bag to melt the wax for a temporary hold.) Once you have your selected quote, prep your Dimensional Paints by shaking and starting the flow on a paper towel. If you feel comfortable freehand creating the quote art on the tote, go ahead and get started! Or you can use a chalk pencil or a regular pencil to lightly write out the quote onto the front of the bag first, then trace over it with Dimensional Paint. After you're happy with your paint application, let the paint dry flat for several hours until completely dry. Once dry, remove the cardboard or freezer paper from inside of the bag. What a fun gift to give your mom for Mother's Day! She'll love showing this sweet quote art tote off everywhere she goes!

One of the many cool qualities ColorShot has is that you can blend colors on fabric like you see here. Tip: If you're going for a rainbow of colors on one project, make sure you pair colors next to each other that blend nicely. To get this look, diagonally pleat your dry fabric (it doesn't have to be perfect or even) and press a hot iron along the pleats to help hold everything in place while you spray. Then prep and spray on your paints (matching front and back), following the instructions that come with your ColorShot Fabric Sprays. How easy is that? Fabric Spray Paint Crumple Wanna get a little crazy with your tie-dye look? This awesomely abstract crumple pattern couldn't be easier to create with ColorShot! Rainbow Ombré Spray Dye Let's change things up for a sec with Tulip One-Step Spray Dye. How amazing is this rainbow ombre tie-dye pattern? Creating this same look is super easy; mix up the dyes in the included spray bottles (just add water), then spray stripes of color along a damp T-shirt. Repeat on the backside. You can go with this same horizontal stripes pattern, make them vertical or diagonal ... experiment and make it your own! Rainbow Swirl Is your brain swirling with tie-dye ideas yet? How about now after seeing this cool fabric spray swirl shirt created with ColorShot? To get this look, lay a dry shirt out flat on your work surface, then pinch it in the center and twist it around into a spiral shape. Press it with a hot iron for those ultra-defined creases, then spray on your favorite ColorShot colors in any pattern you like. Flip over and repeat on the backside, and you have yourself a tie-dye shirt that's radiating color! Fabric Spray Swirl Here's a 2-color variation of the shirt above, created in exactly the same way! You know, in case you're not into THAT much color. Galaxy Tie Dye And last but definitely not least, send your style into orbit with a galaxy tie-dye tee! Tulip Fabric Markers No-Sew Face Mask

Make and Decorate a No-Sew Face Mask

With the shortage of medical-grade face masks we're currently experiencing (and priority needed for medical professionals working so hard to help treat and minimize the spread of COVID-19), many of us are making our own masks for those times we need to venture out and about. Homemade masks don't offer the same level of protection you'd get from a certified medical mask, but they still add a protective layer we don't normally have - for us and for others we're around. We teamed up with Holly at Club Crafted to show those of us who aren't sewers how to make our own no-sew face mask using cotton fabric and a nontoxic, permanent fabric glue, then adding cute personality with Tulip Fabric Markers. Get the deets and the pattern below, then make a mask with your own creative twist. Stay safe out there! What you need: - Tulip Fabric Markers Rainbow 12 Pack - Aleene's Fabric Fusion - 100% cotton fabric, tightly woven and prewashed - Lightweight fusible interfacing - Thin elastic - Scissors - Mask template (from this post) You might find it difficult to stock up on our listed supplies to make your mask, since many of us are making our own right now. (For example, elastic might be tough to get.) Not to worry, because Holly has some alternative supply tips for you! Here are a few ideas: Elastic: If you can't find elastic for your no-sew face mask, try hairbands! Just about any elastic hair band will work. Fabric: For best results, choose a natural fiber material. (We recommend cotton because you still want the fabric to be breathable against your face). Make sure the fabric is thick enough so you cannot see through it, and be sure to pre-wash it. You should be able to find cotton fabric at most craft stores, however, you can also upcycle something you already own, like a T-shirt! Filter: Holly used fusible interfacing as a filter in her version of the no-sew face mask. Another excellent option is HEPA HVAC filters. To use, remove them from the filter frame and flatten. Only use fabric without filters if you cannot find a filter material. Cut 4 mask shapes using the template, then cut an additional 2 from the interfacing. Arrange 2 fabric mask shapes with the curved edges facing outward and the straight edges together. Add a thin line of Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Glue around all edges of the pieces and press the matching interfacing pieces on top of each. Flip the pieces over. Place your 2 remaining mask pieces (without the filters) right sides up on your work surface. Add a line of Fabric Fusion along the curved edge of one of the pieces. Flip the other piece so that the right side is facing the piece with glue, align edges, and press in place. Place one of the filter pieces right side up (filter side down) on work surface and add a line of glue along the curved edge. Press the other filter piece in place on top of the glue, right sides together as shown. Let all pieces dry completely, then flip right side out. Place both mask sections right sides together. Cut about a 7-inch section of elastic for each side of the mask. Form a strand of elastic into a half loop with the cut ends aligning with the side edge of the mask. Peel back one side of the top mask layer and add glue along the entire side of the bottom layer. Place the half loop of elastic with ends touching the outer edge in between the layers, pressing into the glue. Press the top layer back in place over the bottom layer, sandwiching the elastic half loop in place. Repeat with the second piece of elastic on the other side, continuing to glue around the edges and leaving a 3-inch opening at the bottom so you can turn the mask right side out. Tip: You can use paper clips to hold the pieces securely in place while they dry. Once dry, trim the corners for smooth seams. Flip your mask right side out through the opening left in the seam. Press the edges of the open seam under and glue in place. Let dry completely. Choose Tulip Fabric Marker color(s) to complement your mask fabric and the design you plan on creating! PS. Tulip Fabric Markers are nontoxic, permanent, and washable, so your mask designs stay vibrant through washings. Draw your design onto your mask. When you're happy with it, let it dry completely! This no-sew face mask turned out purrrrfecty adorable, don't you think?! What design will you create on yours? Save this pattern to your desktop and print!

Comfort Zone: DIY Tie-Dye Loungewear

Comfort Zone: DIY Tie-Dye Loungewear

Published Date: April 17, 2020 Whether you're working or schooling from home or you're not even sure what day it is, chances are, loungewear is your new go-to daily outfit choice. Is anyone even wearing jeans at this point? Pass the sweats and leggings please! Since we're all pretty much laying low right now, we recommend chillin' in style with tie-dye loungewear. Not only is tie dyeing your stuff a fun creative activity (that you really can't mess up if you tried because all tie dye is cool), but you get something awesome to wear afterward. Check out this roundup of comfy tie-dye DIYs that'll have you ready for your next video chat with no extra effort! Supplies needed - Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit of choice - 100% cotton hoodie or sweatshirt in white - 100% cotton leggings or sweats in white - 100% cotton tank top or T-shirt in white Instructions Pastel Stripe Tie-Dye Sweatshirt Right now we're vibing with soft color palettes like pastels and other cool tones. They help put us in a zen state of mind! This simple pastel stripes tie-dye design across a cozy sweatshirt is all about total relaxation. You can keep it simple with just a few stripes like we did, or add stripes to your entire sweatshirt; get creative with it! Pastel Crumple Tie-Dye Sweatshirt Doesn't this hoodie remind you of a softer version of camo? Create this cozy vibe by watering down your dyes to make them extra pastel, then using the crumple tie-dye technique on the entire hoodie (don't forget to flip it over and dye the backside as well). You can use a mix of your favorite dye colors with the crumple technique, or one color if you want to keep it super simple! Another way to get this cool watercolor pastel look is with the ice dye technique; you don't even have to add water to your dyes - just sprinkle them over the ice on your hoodie and let the ice do the work! Ombre Tie-Dye Tank Top A soft tank top is perfect for lounging, especially as the weather starts to warm up! Recreate this simple ombre tie-dye design by mixing up your dye and squeezing it directly from the bottle onto the tank top, applying more dye at the bottom and less as you work up towards the top. Try blending several dye colors for a fun variation, or applying the dye to the top section instead. Tie-Dye Leggings We don't know about you, but we're basically in leggings 24/7 right now, and we're not sorry about it. We're just sorry we don't have MORE LEGGINGS. Treat yourself to a one-of-a-kind set with tie dye! You'll want to make sure your leggings are 100% cotton so you can dye them, then check out our tie-dye leggings tutorial to see how we created this cool inverted V tie-dye pattern. We opted for simple black dye, but you could absolutely recreate this same pattern using multiple colors, or trying a completely different tie-dye technique on your leggings. Ice Dye Pastel Tie-Dye Sweatshirt Remember that ice dye technique we mentioned for the hoodie above? Try combining it with the stripe tie-dye technique for this seriously cool effect! First you'd bind your sweatshirt in vertical stripes (if you're going for this same look), then apply dyes using the ice dye technique. The result is chill loungewear that looks as good as it feels!

Rainbow Tie-Dye Projects To Brighten Your Day

Rainbow Tie-Dye Projects To Brighten Your Day

Published Date: April 14, 2020 Brighten your day with rainbow-colored tie dye! It's the perfect way to spread some extra cheer whether you're walking past your sibs in the living room or walking your dog through the neighborhood. If you haven't discovered this already, tie dye is a super fun activity, there's no wrong way to do it, and you can seriously grab an old T-shirt or hoodie from your closet and give it new life with bold colors and tie-dye patterns. Pick up your favorite Tulip Tie-Dye Kit and follow the rainbow this way to discover 6 ways to make tie-dye magic! Supplies needed - Tulip Tie-Dye Kit of choice - 100% cotton T-shirt, hoodie, tank top or denim shorts - Disposable plastic table cover Instructions Rainbow Stripe Tie-Dye Hoodie A lot of the country is still bundling up from winter chills at the moment, so a cozy hoodie is the perfect way to stay warm while lounging in style. A rainbow stripe tie-dye pattern across the front will add some sunshine to your day, even if it's blustery outside. To achieve this more abstract effect, get your hoodie extra damp before dyeing, and don't wrap your rubber bands as tightly around the fabric. You can even skip binding with the rubber bands and squeeze on the dyes right into one another so they lightly blend. Have fun and experiment with it! Rainbow Swirl Tie-Dye Hoodie And here's one more hoodie in case you want to try a different tie-dye technique on your loungewear than the stripe technique we mentioned above. The spiral tie-dye pattern is so easy to create, and is awesome for working with a lot of dye colors (although you could just stick to one color if you really want to). To create this kind of effect with a lot of white space in between colors, make sure your hoodie is less damp, and leave undyed white space between your rubber bands. If you want a ton of bold color though, apply that dye all the way to the bands and make sure to really saturate your fabric! Rainbow Tie-Dye Shorts Summer is just around the corner, and that means shorts season will be in full effect. (If you're in a warmer state like Cali you might already be wearing shorts!) Give a faded pair of cutoffs new life with outrageously bright tie-dye effects; you can freestyle it (that's the great thing about Tulip One-Step Dyes coming in squeeze bottles) or you can bind the shorts with rubber bands or zip ties to get a specific look. These shorts feature the stripe tie-dye technique in a vertical pattern (so pleating the shorts from waist to bottom edge and evenly spacing zip ties into about 9 sections). It's up to you how many different colored sections you want to try! Rainbow Sunburst Tie-Dye Tank Top The sunburst tie-dye technique sounds perfect for summertime, doesn't it?! Add in super bright rainbow colors and a tank top, and you'll be beaming with cheer whether you're headed to bed or out on a hike. The sunburst might actually be one of the easiest tie-dye techniques ever (we know we say that a lot but we really mean it). For this tank, bind the center with one rubber band and lay the rest of the top out flat. Add one dye color to the bound section and in a triangular shape on a portion of the top. Repeat with other dyes in triangular patterns as shown. Look at you, BURSTING with tie-dye creativity! Rainbow Stripe Tie-Dye Tank Top Okay one more tank top idea for you, since in addition to just having something cool to wear in the summer, they're also great for working out and for pajamas as well. If you want a true rainbow pattern, the stripe tie-dye technique in a rainbow palette is the way to go. We made our stripes thin for this tank, but feel free to widen them or have your stripes span the entire length of your top. You could even run them diagonally if you want! Rainbow Stripe Tie-Dye T-shirt Here's a variation of the tank top above, because maybe tank tops aren't your thing, or you also want a T-shirt in a similar style! Feel free to change up your blues (notice we went turquoise in the tank top and used a darker blue shade here). Or maybe add in some fuchsia or violet for an even bolder rainbow effect. Remember, there's no wrong way to tie dye!

DIY Leather Earrings

DIY Leather Earrings

Even if you're never made your own jewelry before, there's no time like the present to get started! DIYing your own stylish set of earrings you'll actually want to wear on the regular is super easy, and we're going to show you how. With real or faux leather swatches, a craft knife and Aleene's Leather & Suede Glue, you'll have a fab new treat for your ears in no time. What you need: - Aleene's Leather & Suede Glue- Leather swatches (desired colors)- Earring template- Craft knife- Hole punch- Earring fishhooks Making your own pretty boho-style earrings is easier than you think, and you only need a few supplies! You can use real leather or faux, and make sure to have two coordinating colors for layering. Place your base color leather swatch on a cutting mat with your larger earring template on top. Use a craft knife to cut two base pieces from the leather. Repeat with the smaller template on the other leather swatch. Use your hole punch to punch a hole at the top of each base piece. Align the top pieces with the bases and punch a hole in each top piece to match. Apply Leather & Suede Glue to the backside of each top piece and press in place over the base pieces. Let dry completely. Make sure the punched holes at the tops of each align when glued together, so you can easily fit your fishhook through. Attach fishhooks, and you're ready to treat your ears to a fab new pair of earrings! And now that you know how easy it is to DIY a pair of leather earrings, you can even make some as gifts for friends and family. Get creative with other colors and shapes!

DIY Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial

DIY Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial

Published Date: April 13, 2020 Right now we all have health and safety on our minds - our own and that of everyone around us. Face masks have always been a great tool for helping to protect from and prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses, and right now they're in short supply. Many of us are getting creative and making our own, and while they aren't the same as medical-grade masks, they still add a level of protection we don't normally have ... and they also help to keep us from touching our faces! Tie dye is a fun way to add personality to your mask (Tulip One-Step Tie Dye is nontoxic!), and the best part is, you can grab an old tie-dye T-shirt out of your closet and DIY a mask without having to leave home. Check out this tutorial and get inspired to upcycle a tie-dye T-shirt into your own colorful face mask. Supplies needed - Tie-dye T-shirt (shop One-Step Tie-Dye Kits here) - Scissors - Mask pattern (find your preferred style online and download) - Elastic - Sewing pins - Sewing machine (or needle and thread) - Iron Instructions Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial If you're like us and you already have some bright tie-dye shirts lying around, grab one of those to get started on your face mask! But you can also make your mask out of a plain white 100% cotton T-shirt or fabric first, then tie dye afterward. Tulip One-Step Tie Dye is nontoxic, so you don't have to stress about wearing the dyed fabric against your face. Find a pattern online that you like best and print out. Make sure it's large enough to cover your face, and that you have a pattern that includes a liner and an outer layer. Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - use pattern to cut fabric Lay your tie-dye T-shirt out flat and pin the patterns through both layers to hold in place while you cut out. The great thing about using a T-shirt is you automatically have two layers (you'll need two pieces for each pattern)! If you're using a swatch of fabric instead, make sure to fold in half and cut through both layers. Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - use pattern to cut fabric You should have two pieces for the inner layer and two for the outer layer. Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - stitch along curved edge Place right sides together for both the inner and outer layers and use sewing pins to hold in place. Stitch along the curved edge, leaving at least a 3/8-inch seam. Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - clip seam and do a top stitch Use your scissors to make cuts along the seam of the section you just sewed, then iron to one side (to help hold in place) and do a top stitch along this clipped section. Make sure to do this for both the inner and outer layers of your mask. Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - progress shot Your mask should look like this so far (right side facing outward). Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - fold and stitch sides For your inner layer, fold side edges over and over again, then iron to hold in place. Stitch along each edge to secure. Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - stitch layers and clip Place your inner and outer layers right sides together, aligning the center seams. Stitch along the curved top edges and the bottom edges, leaving another 3/8-inch seam allowance on each side. Use your scissors to make cuts along these seams as done before. Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - fold and stitch edges Turn your mask right side out and fold over each raw side edge once, then once more. Stitch in place to form the ear loop holders. Tulip Tie-Dye Face Mask Tutorial - fold and stitch edges String a section of elastic (about 8 inches long - but measure your ear for a more accurate length needed) through each ear loop holder you just created. Tip: It helps to fasten a safety pin to one end of the elastic and pull it through the ear loop holder. Overlap each end of the elastic strand about an inch to create a continuous loop, then stitch in place. Now you have bright, washable tie-dye face mask you can use whenever you need to head out and about!

Pastel Dyed DIY Wall Hanging

Pastel Dyed DIY Wall Hanging

If you're looking to revamp your spaces with a more comforting touch this spring, you're definitely not alone. Soft textures and fabrics add a cozy vibe, and in shades of pastel, well that's just perfect for spring, wouldn't you say? We enlisted the help of Mikyla Creates to come up with pretty home decor you can DIY for Easter or spring in general, and we're swooning over this fun boho wall hanging she made using cotton twine and the Tulip Pretty Pastels One-Step Tie-Dye Kit. It's the perfect project to make while binging on your new fave Netflix series! Read on for the tutorial. What you need: - Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit of choice - 2 Wooden dowels - Drill - Cotton twine - Wooden beads - Scissors Ready to get started on your wall hanging? Don't be intimidated! It's easier than it looks. Follow along for Mikyla's tutorial. Drill a hole through each end of both wooden dowels. Thread your string through the holes with one dowel a few inches above the other and knot the string on each end to hold in place. Attach a string to the top that you can use to hang your wall hanging. Cut a bunch of long strips of string (you won’t know how many you’ll need so just cut a bunch to get started). Length of string and number of strings will increase based on how long your dowels are. Fold your string in half lengthwise, put the looped end behind the bottom dowel, fold it over top of the dowel, bringing the bottom ends of the string through the loop you’ve created (see photo). Pull to tighten in place. Repeat this step all the way across your dowel (this is the time-consuming part). For this part you can measure and mark for precision, or you can just wing it! Cut your strands of string hanging from the dowel into a V shape, with the point of the V at the center as shown. Lay your wall hanging down onto a plastic covered surface like a table cover or large trash bag. Spray the section of string that you want to dye with water. Mix the dye color you want to use according to instructions and squeeze onto the string. Let dry. Wrap your string around a spatula or something else that is roughly the length that you’d like your tassels to be. Wrap string around your item about 30 times. Cut the string on one end. Tie a string around the top section of your strands of string, making a new loop at the top and put a string through the top loop. Repeat the process to create as many tassels as desired. Dampen tassels and place on covered work surface. Mix dyes according to instructions and dye the bottom halves of the tassels different colors. Let dry. Tie a long string to the top of each of your tassels. Thread beads onto that string, adding the same number of beads to each tassel. Hang your tassels onto the top dowel of your wall hanging, tying them so that they follow the V of the wall hanging. So it takes a few steps but it doesn't look difficult, right? It turned out so cute! Such a great afternoon project and a pretty way to decorate your space for Easter and spring!

Tulip Pastel Dimensional Paint Floral Vases

Pastel Dimensional Paint Floral Vases

Flowers are an instant mood boost for a lot of us, so why not double the effect and create a set of vases with flowers on them too?! The perfect centerpiece for your intimate Easter dinner at home, or even a lovely accent on a side table, you can never go wrong with bouquets of flowers. Mikyla Creates will show you how to DIY your own set of floral vases for spring using pretty pastel shades of Tulip Dimensional Paint. What you need: - Tulip Dimensional Paint in desired colors - COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint - Head in the Clouds - Glass vases or jars - Painter's tape - White acrylic paint - Paintbrush Make sure your vases are clean and free of any dust and prints. Tape them off at different levels using painter's tape. Working in a well-ventilated area, spray each vase with several light coats of white spray paint, letting dry between coats. Once you're happy with your paint coverage, remove the tape and let the vases dry completely before moving on to the next step. On a paper plate or paint palette, squeeze out some of each color of Dimensional Paint then mix in white acrylic paint to each color. Use a paintbrush to paint leaves and stems all around the white portion of each vase. Paint each vase with a different color of paint. Use the Dimensional Paint directly from the paint bottle to create dimensional flowers and dots over the leaf patterns in the corresponding color. Once you're happy with how your project turned out, let everything dry completely before using. It's time to let your creativity bloom for Easter and the rest of spring!

Tulip Pastel Dyed Plant Pattern Napkins

Pastel Dyed Plant Pattern Cloth Napkins

Perfect for an intimate Easter dinner at home, a set of pastel cloth napkins with plant patterns will bring the sweetness of nature inside to your table. Cloth napkins add a softer touch to mealtime, and we're loving this set from Mikyla Creates made with Tulip Two-Minute Tie Dye. Read on to see how Mikyla got creative with tie dye, plant sprigs and spray bottles to freshen up table settings for Easter and other spring meals. What you need: - Tulip Two-Minute Tie-Dye Kit - Linen or cotton cloth napkins - Spray bottles - Plant stems/foliage from outside - Plastic table cover Before you start your dye project, place a protective plastic table cover (or large trash bag) over your work surface to protect from any potential spills. Pour some dye powder from each color you're using into each spray bottle. For more pastel shades, don't add all of the dye powder to the spray bottle. Add water to the tops of the bottles, replace the nozzles and shake to mix. Dampen your cloth napkins and lay out flat on your covered work surface. Place your foliage on the napkin and spray one of the dye colors over the napkin. The foliage will act as a resist, blocking the dye from the portions of the napkin underneath. Move your foliage around as needed while spraying to create the pattern. Once you've finished spraying dyes over napkins, make sure they are still damp (if not, re-dampen them) and place into the Two-Minute Tie-Dye Container. Microwave and allow your napkins to set according to the kit instructions. After the processing time, launder your napkins according to instructions, then they're ready to brighten up your dinner table! Such an easy way to add a touch of spring to Easter dinner (or any meal) with pretty pastels!

Easy Puzzle Heart Wreath

Easy Puzzle Heart Wreath

Love is in the air year round, but there's something about Valentine's Day that especially makes us want to have our hearts out on display everywhere we go! This adorable heart wreath from Dream a Little Bigger is made out of puzzle pieces and Aleene's Original Tacky Glue, and is a great Valentine's Day project the kids can help make too. It only takes a few supplies – like that old puzzle in the back of the closet you could never find the missing pieces to – and you can easily create a wreath you'll love to put out on display year after year! What you need: - Aleene's Original Tacky Glue - Puzzle pieces - Spray paint (Dream a Little Bigger used COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint) - Scratch paper/pencil - Ribbon - Scissors Trace or draw a heart on scratch paper to use as a guide for puzzle piece placement. Begin adding a dot of glue to puzzle pieces one at a time and pressing together. Use your heart template as a guide for your shape, working the pieces around the heart shape accordingly as you glue together. Let dry. Once dry, flip over and seal any loose pieces on the backside with glue. Glue on extra pieces to reinforce the strength of the backing. Let dry. Repeat process for creating two additional hearts. For the third heart, do not glue the entire heart together at this point in time. Instead create two halves, as you will need to intertwine this heart with the other two. Working in a well-ventilated area, spray paint each puzzle heart a different coordinating color. Spray several light coats instead of one heavy coat, letting dry between coats. Lay your painted hearts out on your work surface and intertwine one half of the disconnected heart with one of the hearts and the other half with the other. Place the halves together to form a whole heart intertwined with the others. Glue all pieces together to secure. Let dry completely. Cut a strand of ribbon the size of the hanger you would like for your wreath. Flip your wreath piece over and glue each end of the ribbon in place on the back side. Let dry. Such an easy way to upcycle an old puzzle into a pretty Valentine's Day wreath that will capture your heart for years to come!
