Earn Your Stripes: DIY Zebra Jacket with Fabric Paint
Ready to earn your stripes? This bold zebra jacket takes a plain white long coat and transforms it into a wild, fashion-week-inspired statement piece with just fabric paint, a brush, and a little creative confidence. The best part is that the design is meant to be freehand and playful, so there’s no stencil, measuring, or perfect pattern needed—just prep the jacket, paint on random black zebra stripes, add optional glow paint for extra flair, and let it dry. It’s an easy DIY with major style payoff, perfect for anyone who wants to make something fierce, fun, and totally one-of-a-kind. Supplies Needed: Tulip Fabric Paint Black Tulip Fabric Paint Glow (optional) White long coat Paintbrush Water cup Paint palette or disposable plate Paper or plastic piece PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS 1. PREPARE YOUR JACKET FOR DESIGNING Prewash and dry jacket. Lay perfectly flat. Place paper or plastic in between layers to avoid paint seeping through to opposite side. 2. APPLY FABRIC PAINT Use your paintbrush to paint zebra stripes randomly over white jacket. There’s no right or wrong way to do this. (If desired, add in stripes of glow paint so you can shine in the dark, too!) Let dry and apply second coat. 3. LET IT DRY Let dry completely 4 hours or more. Machine wash (inside out) after 72 hours. How are you crafting your wild side? Show us your animal designs and tag us on social media @TulipColorCrafts!
DIY Glow-in-the-Dark Trick or Treat Tote
Ready to collect your treats in style this Halloween? With the enchanting glow of our Glow-in-the-Dark Trick or Treat Tote, you’ll not only have a sturdy carrier for your goodies but also a magical accessory that illuminates the night! Using Tulip Glow in the Dark Puff Paint, let’s turn an ordinary canvas tote into a dazzling Halloween masterpiece that’s both practical and festive! Materials You'll Need: Tulip Glow in the Dark Puff Paint Canvas tote Cardboard Pencil Step 1: Prepare Your Crafting Surface Before you start crafting, insert a large piece of cardboard into the tote. This step will offer a stable and flat crafting surface, making the painting process smooth and preventing the paint from seeping through. Step 2: Sketch Your Design With your pencil, lightly sketch the desired Halloween design onto the canvas tote. This draft will serve as your guide when you apply the Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint, so make it clear and visible. Step 3: Paint Application Now, it’s time to bring your design to life! Using the Tulip Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint, carefully trace and fill in your penciled design on the tote. For a bold and even glow, ensure to apply a generous amount of paint, covering all parts of your sketched design. Step 4: Drying Allow the painted tote to dry flat for four hours before removing the cardboard Patience is key! During this time, the Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint will set, and your design will solidify. Once it's dry, carefully remove the cardboard from inside the tote. Step 5: Activation To activate the magical glow of your tote, expose it to a UV light source, like the sun or a black light, for at least one minute. If you're using an incandescent bulb, allow several minutes for the Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint to absorb the light and reach its optimal glowing effects. Illuminate your Halloween night with a DIY Glow-in-the-Dark Trick or Treat Tote, and don’t forget to share your wonderful creations with us! Tag us on social media @TulipColorCrafts and let the world see your glowing masterpiece! Happy crafting and trick-or-treating!

Create in Full Color: Rainbow DIY Projects for Everyone
Rainbows have a way of bringing every color, style, and personality together—and these four DIY projects are all about celebrating that vibrant, all-inclusive creativity. From bold tie-dye shirts to colorful custom shoes, each craft is inspired by the joy of self-expression and making something uniquely you. #1 Heart Tie-Dye Resist T-shirt This fun shirt we like to say is “perfectly imperfect.” Add little glue hearts to act as a barrier resist, then slowly add your tie dye inside the hearts with a paintbrush. Let it set for 6-8 hours. Then wash the glue away. Some of the dye may sneak under the glue making adorable little altered heart designs. #2 Rainbow Checkered Slip-on Shoes This is where a stencil works best. Place your stencil on canvas shoes and add your rainbow colors in a color pattern of choice. #3 Splatter Paint Shoes There are no rules with this one! Use a paintbrush to splatter, flick and drip rainbow colors on your shoes to make them one of a kind. #4 Watercolor Tie-Dye Button Shirt Apply your dye to your cotton button-down shirt wherever you want and then use a paintbrush dipped in water to “stretch out” the dye color into a watercolor effect. BEYOU TIE-DYE KIT ( General Instructions )
Read through all directions before beginning. Supplies Natural fiber fabric (light color) – silk, wool, rayon, cotton Plastic trash bags to cover work surface Plastic bag or plastic wrap Step 1 – Set Up Work Surface Protect work surface with plastic trash bags. Cover with a layer of paper towels. Step 2 – Prewash Fabric Prewash fabric to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheet. Choose desired technique. If using dry technique, dry fabric in dryer. If using wet technique, use directly from washer. Step 3 – Prepare Fabric If using a flat method of dyeing, place plastic wrap or trash bag between layers of fabric to keep dye from seeping through to other side. Step 4 – Mix Dye Wearing protective gloves, add water to dye bottle and fill to the neck. Replace cap tightly. Shake until dye is dissolved. Use full-strength for intense colors. For a lighter shade of color, add more water using extra bottle if needed. Apply dye within 24 hours after mixing. Note: Dye left unapplied after 24 hours will begin to lose concentration and will result in noticeably weaker color intensity. Do not add water to dye until you are prepared to apply it. Step 5 – Dye Fabric Apply dye on fabric, checking to make sure dye has penetrated into folds. Do not over-saturate fabric. If dye is applied too close together, the colors may become muddy. Step 6 – Wrap, Let Set, Rinse Cover dyed fabric with plastic wrap to keep damp. Let set 6–8 hours or longer for most intense colors. Rinse until water is clear. Cut rubber bands if used. Fill washer to large load setting with hottest water suitable for fabric and a small amount of laundry soap. Wash and dry separately for the first few times. Hints Always wear gloves when working with dyes Do not allow dyed fabric to rest wet on other items Make sure excess dye dust is removed from work area Create new colors by blending dyes
