Ready to earn your stripes? This bold zebra jacket takes a plain white long coat and transforms it into a wild, fashion-week-inspired statement piece with just fabric paint, a brush, and a little creative confidence. The best part is that the design is meant to be freehand and playful, so there’s no stencil, measuring, or perfect pattern needed—just prep the jacket, paint on random black zebra stripes, add optional glow paint for extra flair, and let it dry. It’s an easy DIY with major style payoff, perfect for anyone who wants to make something fierce, fun, and totally one-of-a-kind.

Supplies Needed:
- Tulip Fabric Paint Black
- Tulip Fabric Paint Glow (optional)
- White long coat
- Paintbrush
- Water cup
- Paint palette or disposable plate
-
Paper or plastic piece
PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS
1. PREPARE YOUR JACKET FOR DESIGNING
Prewash and dry jacket. Lay perfectly flat. Place paper or plastic in between layers to avoid paint seeping through to opposite side.
2. APPLY FABRIC PAINT
Use your paintbrush to paint zebra stripes randomly over white jacket. There’s no right or wrong way to do this. (If desired, add in stripes of glow paint so you can shine in the dark, too!) Let dry and apply second coat.
3. LET IT DRY
Let dry completely 4 hours or more. Machine wash (inside out) after 72 hours.
