Should I use hot or cold water to dye fabric?
Be sure to use the hottest water possible for your fabric so all the dye powder will dissolve.
How does original color of fabric affect the end result?
Suppose you want to tie dye the fabric a darker color. In that case, we recommend using a dye color within the same color family as the existing color on the fabric (i.e., from Light Pink to Fuchsia). Any color outside of the color family may turn muddy or brown. Remember, color mixing rules will apply.
Do I have to add salt to dye fabrics?

What if I accidentally inhale or ingest some dye powder?
Inhaling a little bit of tie-dye powder might turn the inside of your nose or tongue the color of the dye, and it may cause some irritation. Remove as much dye as possible with running water, and get medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed, contact a poison control center or doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting. If in the eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes. If on the skin, rinse well with water.

How do I unclog the tip of my puff paint bottle?
Remove the tip, rinse in warm water and poke a T-pin down through the hole making an opening wide enough for the paint to flow through. If you simply poke a pin through the tip, without removing the clog, the clog will find its way to the tip again.
Can I wash my project after applying Puff Paint?
Yes, Puff Paint should be left to dry flat for 4 hours. Wait 72 hours before washing. Turn inside out and wash in warm water on a gentle cycle with mild soap. Line dry for ultimate protection.
