What is Puff Paint? Puff Paint is sometimes referred to as Dimensional Paint or 3D Paint, and is a special kind of multi-surface paint that dries with “puffy” or raised, dimensional effects. While many paints are brushed on and dry flat where ever they are applied (unless they are layered or mixed with other mediums to create texture), Puff Paints apply and dry puffy and dimensional. They come in a specially designed squeeze bottle with a precision writer tip for easy application straight from the bottle.

Is Puff Paint permanent?

Yes! Puff Paint dries permanent on most surfaces, and can even be machine washed when applied to fabric. If you are using Puff Paint on fabric, make sure to keep it away from other fabrics you do not want paint on, such as clothing, carpeting, etc., because it won’t wash out of fabric once dry. However, if you are working on hard, nonporous surfaces such as glass, plastic and glazed ceramics, Puff Paint can easily be wiped away before it dries. So if you make a mistake, don’t worry! Simply wipe away the paint with a damp paper towel and start over.

Is Puff Paint nontoxic?

Yes, Puff Paint is nontoxic and kid friendly. Crafters of all ages and skills enjoy working with Puff Paint because it’s easy to use, and you can use it to create so many art techniques on so many surfaces, all without worry!

What can Puff Paint be used on?

Puff Paint is such a fun, versatile paint to create with! People of all ages love using Puff Paint for DIYing group T-shirts, school projects, decorating backpacks, personalizing shoes, home décor and so much more. When used on fabrics, Puff Paint dries permanent and flexible, and won’t crack or peel, even after washing.

Can Puff Paint be washed?

Yes, Puff Paint is permanent on most surfaces, and can be hand and machine washed on fabrics after drying and curing for 72 hours. Make sure to wash inside out in cool water on gentle cycle, then air dry for longer-lasting results.

What art techniques can I do with Puff Paint?

Not only is Puff Paint versatile on craft surfaces, it can be used for a variety of art techniques too! Puff Paint is perfect for dot art, making window clings, faux embroidery art, painting rocks, creating your own non-slip socks, and making fun, stretchy bracelets. You can also apply it to stamps for embossed art, or use it with stencils for creating easy dimensional designs!
