It’s easy to turn plain garden furniture into a playful fungi fantasy with our vibrant spray paint colors! What you need: COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint(This project uses Stiletto) COLORSHOT White Primer COLORSHOT Clear Sealer Gloss Wood garden furniture Painter’s tape Vinyl decals Craft knife Sandpaper Drop cloth or protective surface coverPrepare the garden furniture Before you make your DIY mushroom table set, lightly sand surfaces to be painted and ensure your garden furniture is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. Place the furniture onto a drop cloth or other protective surface cover to protect from overspray. Be sure to work in a well-ventilated area. Cover table legs with painter’s tape to protect from overspray Prepare your mushroom table for painting by covering the legs with painter’s tape to protect them from overspray. Alternately, you can remove the table’s legs entirely— just remember to set aside any hardware for reassembly later! Add vinyl decals to tabletop Add circle-shaped vinyl decals to the tabletop, pressing firmly to ensure they’re properly adhered to the surface. Use a variety of sizes to give your mushroom table its iconic spots! Apply COLORSHOT spray paint in Stiletto to tabletop We’re using COLORSHOT in Stiletto to give this mushroom table its bold red color, just like a fly agaric mushroom! Shake the can well for at least 1 minute, then apply spray paint in smooth, even strokes. Allow the paint to dry for a few minutes before applying additional coats of spray paint for desired coverage. Add a vinyl decal with circle cutouts to each chair seat We love the colorful chairs in this garden furniture set, so instead of painting over them entirely, we’re giving them matching mushroom spots! Disassemble the chairs and apply a vinyl decal with circle-shaped cutouts to each seat. Cover the seat edges with painter’s tape Use painter’s tape to cover the outer edges of each seat. This will protect the sides from any overspray. Apply COLORSHOT White Primer and Clear Sealer Gloss to the chair seats We’re using COLORSHOT White Primer to paint the mushroom spots on this garden furniture. Shake the can well, then apply spray paint in smooth, even strokes. Allow the paint to dry for a few minutes before applying additional coats of spray paint, then seal with COLORSHOT Clear Sealer Gloss. Remove painter’s tape and vinyl decals Once the paint has dried completely, carefully remove all the painter’s tape and vinyl decals from your mushroom table and chairs. A small craft knife is useful for peeling off the vinyl. DIY Spray Painted Mushroom Table Set Reassemble the chairs, then your mushroom table set is ready to use! COLORSHOT’s premium-quality formula makes this painted garden furniture durable enough to display outdoors. How to Paint Shirts with Fabric Spray Paint and Stencils
Is anyone else ready for sweater weather? We’re in a fall state of mind here at Tulip, so we’re all about this cute custom quote art tee! In this tutorial, Club Crafted shows you how to paint shirts with Tulip ColorShot Instant Fabric Color and stencils; it’s so easy to create your own fabulous fall fashion! Get out your ColorShot and your pumpkin spice latte and get ready to get colorfully cozy. What you need: Tulip ColorShot Instant Fabric Color – fall colors of choice - Stencils of choice - Paper towels - Painters tape - Scissors - Disposable plastic surface cover - Freezer paper or shirt form Before spray painting your shirt, first wash and dry it without fabric softener. Cover your work surface with a disposable plastic surface cover. (Make sure you’re working in the well-ventilated area.) Insert a shirt form or piece of freezer paper in between the layers of your shirt to prevent any fabric spray paint from soaking through to the back side. Choose which stencils you’d like to use from your ColorShot Fall Stencil Pack and place on your shirt. Tape down around the edges to hold in place, and cover the surrounding areas with paper towels to protect from any accidental overspray. Tip from Club Crafted: If using multiple stencils close to one another, you can trim the edges of the stencils so they can be easily layered. Prep your cans of ColorShot according to instructions, then spray light coats over the stencil openings instead of heavy coats. ColorShot can be blended on fabric to mix colors or create a nice ombre effect! Let dry between color applications. Once you’re happy with your paint coverage, remove the tape and stencils and let the fabric spray paint dry completely.
