Easy Paint Dripping Technique with Puff Paint

Easy Paint Dripping Technique with Puff Paint

How to create with the easy dripping technique with Puff Paint. What You Need Tulip Puff Paint Aleene’s Clear Casting & Coating Epoxy Resin Kit Stainless steel tumbler Red adhesive permanent vinyl Vinyl decal Glitter and Peppermint Sprinkles Electrical or resin tape Heat gun Wooden stir sticks Plastic cups Safety gear Tumbler spinner Red trim (optional) Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue (optional) Step 1 Remove the lid from the tumbler if necessary. Cut a piece of red adhesive vinyl to fit the tumbler and carefully adhere it in place. Apply the vinyl decal to the front of the tumbler. Step 2 It’s time to create paint dripping effects on your tumbler! Use the Tulip Puff Paint to create a frothy marshmallow drip around the top of the tumbler. Hold the tip of the Puff Paint to the tumbler and gently squeeze, rotating the tumbler until you’ve created dimensional paint drips all the way around. Use more paint for larger drips and less paint for smaller drips— gravity will do all the work to create dazzling dripping effects! Be careful to not get any paint inside the mug or directly on the rim; clean with soap and warm water if you do. Step 3 Add faux peppermint sprinkles and glitter to the paint drips while the Puff Paint is still wet. Let the paint dry completely before proceeding. Step 4 (optional) Cut red trim to fit along the bottom of the tumbler and secure with Tacky Glue. This step is totally optional, but provides a cleaner final look to your winter tumbler! Step 5 Cover the handle and inside of the tumbler with electrical or resin tape and place onto your tumbler spinner. Make sure you’re wearing protective safety gear before working with resin! Use disposable plastic cups and wooden stir sticks to mix the Aleene's Clear Casting & Coating Epoxy Resin according to package instructions. Step 6 Start the tumbler spinning slowly. Carefully pour the epoxy resin onto the tumbler and use a gloved finger to spread the epoxy evenly over the mug, sealing in your custom designs! Step 7 Glide the heat gun above the tumbler as it turns to eliminate bubbles. Let the tumbler spin for at least 12 hours while the epoxy resin cures. Step 8 Once the epoxy resin is cured, remove the tumbler from the spinner. Remove all the tape, wash thoroughly, and replace the lid. Your custom paint drip tumbler is now ready for winter!

What you need: - Aleene’s Quick Dry Fabric Fusion- White long-sleeve shirt- White leggings - Felt – desired colors for costume + red and yellow for rocket flames- NASA®-themed patches- 2 Large empty water bottles- Spray paint in blue or desired color- ScissorsStep 1 For this fun easy Halloween costume, your little astronaut can choose any felt colors they like to help create their spacesuit. For the rocket pack, choose fire colors to make flames! Step 2 From the felt color you are using for the spacesuit cuffs and suspenders, cut two strips that will fit around the wrists of the shirt, and two strips that will fit wrapped around the ankles of the leggings. Cut two longer strips that run the length of the shirt from the shoulders to the bottom hem for the suspenders. Glue all felt strips in place with Quick Dry Fabric Fusion. Step 3 For the spacesuit belt of this fun easy Halloween costume, cut two strips of a different color of felt that runs the width of the bottom of the shirt. Glue onto the front and back of shirt to form the belt. Then glue the NASA-themed patches in place. Step 4 Let all pieces dry completely. Begin by cutting two larger flame shapes from red felt, and two slightly smaller flame shapes from yellow felt. Glue the yellow flames centered on top of the red flames. Step 6 Spray paint two large water bottles in your desired color for the rocket pack. Once they're dry, add Quick Dry Fabric Fusion around the tops of your flame pieces and stuff one inside each of the bottle rims. Let dry. Step 7 Create straps for the rocket pack by cutting two wide strips of felt that fit down the length of the water bottles. Glue each end in place on the side opposite of the fronts of flames, leaving the middle sections without glue so your child can fit their arms through. Let dry. How To Make a Pirate Hat

However your family is celebrating Halloween this year, make sure it’s one they’ll treasure! Grab your first mates and get creative with this easy, affordable pirate costume DIY using nontoxic Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue. That’s right, no sewing needed! This tutorial from The Jamie Lynn Show will teach you how to make a pirate hat using felt and Tacky Glue. There’s no bones about it, this cute pirate costume will spare you from having to walk the plank this Halloween! ARRRRRRRE you ready to get started?! What you need: Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue® - Felt – black, white, red - Faux fur fabric (optional – for beard) - Pirate hat pattern - Skull and crossbones pattern - Eyepatch pattern - String - Hole punch - ScissorsStep 1 For this tutorial on how to make a pirate hat, The Jamie Lynn Show used red, black and white felt, but you can choose any colors you like! Draw your own patterns on scratch paper or print some you find online. Make sure to size your hat pattern to fit your child's measurements! Step 2 Fold your base felt in half and place your hat pattern along the fold. Using a half pattern with a fold like shown makes the process a little easier, and a little faster to cut out, and it's a great way to make sure both sides match evenly! Step 3 Use the pirate hat pattern to cut out your base piece and set aside. Step 4 Repeat this step for your pirate hat backside accent piece using a different felt color. Step 5 Squeeze a line of Tacky Glue along the top edge of your main pirate hat piece of felt. Step 6 Press your pirate hat backside accent piece in place on the base piece, with the top edge extending a half inch to an inch above the base piece. Let dry. Step 7 Flip the pirate hat over so the base piece is now on top. Use your skull and crossbones pattern to cut out the skull and crossbones on white felt. Glue to the front of the hat as shown. Step 8 Punch a hole on each side of the base piece, making sure holes are in the same place on each side. This will be for adding string to secure around your child's head. Step 9 Tie equal lengths of string on each side of the hat. Step 10 Cut your eyepatch pattern from desired color of felt. Tip: glue your paper pattern to the backside of the eyepatch piece for a sturdier base. Step 11 Punch a hole on each side of eyepatch and tie a strand of string to each side. Make sure the string is long enough to fit around your child's head. Step 12 If your child will be wearing a pirate beard, size and cut out the beard pattern from faux fur fabric. You can either secure it with string or use a skin-safe glue, like lash adhesive, to tack on to your child's face. Step 13 Find a striped shirt to complete the costume, and your kiddo is ready for some high-sea Halloween adventures! Now that you know how to make a pirate hat, you can make one for everyone in the fam to complete your crew of shipmates. Buried treasure optional!
