Ready to collect your treats in style this Halloween? With the enchanting glow of our Glow-in-the-Dark Trick or Treat Tote, you’ll not only have a sturdy carrier for your goodies but also a magical accessory that illuminates the night! Using Tulip Glow in the Dark Puff Paint, let’s turn an ordinary canvas tote into a dazzling Halloween masterpiece that’s both practical and festive! Materials You'll Need: Tulip Glow in the Dark Puff Paint Canvas tote Cardboard Pencil Step 1: Prepare Your Crafting Surface Before you start crafting, insert a large piece of cardboard into the tote. This step will offer a stable and flat crafting surface, making the painting process smooth and preventing the paint from seeping through. Step 2: Sketch Your Design With your pencil, lightly sketch the desired Halloween design onto the canvas tote. This draft will serve as your guide when you apply the Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint, so make it clear and visible. Step 3: Paint Application Now, it’s time to bring your design to life! Using the Tulip Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint, carefully trace and fill in your penciled design on the tote. For a bold and even glow, ensure to apply a generous amount of paint, covering all parts of your sketched design. Step 4: Drying Allow the painted tote to dry flat for four hours before removing the cardboard Patience is key! During this time, the Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint will set, and your design will solidify. Once it's dry, carefully remove the cardboard from inside the tote. Step 5: Activation To activate the magical glow of your tote, expose it to a UV light source, like the sun or a black light, for at least one minute. If you're using an incandescent bulb, allow several minutes for the Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint to absorb the light and reach its optimal glowing effects. Illuminate your Halloween night with a DIY Glow-in-the-Dark Trick or Treat Tote, and don’t forget to share your wonderful creations with us! Tag us on social media @TulipColorCrafts and let the world see your glowing masterpiece! Happy crafting and trick-or-treating!

Quote Art Mother's Day Tote
Looking for Mother's Day gift ideas? How about a personalized tote bag made just for her? Moms - because they're moms and are pretty much always prepared - tend to sometimes need bigger bags for grocery shopping, carting around extra items for kids, family trips and more. A quote art tote bag personalized for your mom will bring a smile to her face every time she gets out her specially made tote for errands or everyday use. Scribble & Script shows you how to use Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint for an extra way to make your mom's new favorite bag stand out! What you need: - Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paints in desired colors - Tote bag - Cardboard or freezer paper to fit inside bag - Paper towels - Desired quote - Pencil/chalk pencil - Iron First iron any wrinkles out of the tote bag for a completely smooth painting surface. Insert a piece of cardboard or freezer paper (wax side up) inside of the tote bag to help prevent any paint from soaking through to the backside. (If using freezer paper, iron over the top layer of the bag to melt the wax for a temporary hold.) Once you have your selected quote, prep your Dimensional Paints by shaking and starting the flow on a paper towel. If you feel comfortable freehand creating the quote art on the tote, go ahead and get started! Or you can use a chalk pencil or a regular pencil to lightly write out the quote onto the front of the bag first, then trace over it with Dimensional Paint. After you're happy with your paint application, let the paint dry flat for several hours until completely dry. Once dry, remove the cardboard or freezer paper from inside of the bag. What a fun gift to give your mom for Mother's Day! She'll love showing this sweet quote art tote off everywhere she goes!
DIY Gym Bag with Quote Art
Let's be honest, the reason most of us work out is so we can eat more pizza, right?!?! In the spirit of cheesy, doughy, saucy goodness (OMG we're so hungry now), and okay, the spirit of hitting the gym every now and then too (or every day if that's your style), we came up with this fun DIY gym bag design that infuses color and humor into our workout routines. Grab a pack of Tulip Graffiti Fabric Markers and maybe a slice - or 5 - of pizza (you know, to help get you inspired) and give those creative muscles a workout with this easy quote art project. What you need: - Tulip Graffiti Fabric Markers - Canvas/cotton gym bag (light color) - Quote art printed in desired font - Tracing paper or cardstock - Craft knife - Pencil - 1/4" masking tape First make sure the gym bag has been washed and dried without fabric softener. Lay it out flat on your work surface and criss cross strips of the 1/4" masking tape to create geometric designs on the center section of the bag. Add as many as you like! Choose your color palette of Graffiti Fabric Markers - don't be afraid to get super colorful! Color in the taped off sections with different marker colors. When you're finished, remove the strips of tape and let the ink dry completely. Create your quote art stencil on card stock or tracing paper. You can either trace a printed quote or hand draw your own and then cut out with a craft knife, leaving the sections around the letters intact. Place over your geometric marker design on the bag and use a pencil to lightly trace the lettering over the design. Color in the letters with a black marker and let dry. Repeat on the other side of the bag if desired. Now that your fab new workout bag is done, you can hit the gym, then grab a pizza to celebrate on your way home!
5 Bag Makeovers with Fabric Paint
Back-to-school season is in full swing! Whether you're looking to save on supply spend where you can, or you just want a bag that no one else is toting around this school year, Tulip Fabric Paint is a fab way to revamp last year's tired old backpack or give a simple one fun personality in your own awesome style. What you need: - Tulip Puff Paints- favorite colors- Tulip Soft Fabric Paint - favorite colors-Glitter (if desired)-Bag/backpack If you haven't embraced the pineapple trend yet, then you haven't really been living. Who doesn't love pineapples?! Created with Tulip Puff Paints in ultra bright colors, this bag has a fun pop art feel with everyone's favorite fruit as the star of the show. For all of the forever mermaids out there, this ocean-themed backpack is so easy to make with Tulip Puff Paints in pretty metallic colors. Create mermaid tail vibes with simple curves in a repetitive pattern. Maybe you don't need to haul around a big backpack, or maybe you're looking for a flashy way to store your makeup or other school essentials. You can never go wrong with a set of bright red lips accented with shimmering red glitter. Get the look with Tulip Puff Paints in and glitter if desired. Cactus designs are still a thing, so get out your Soft Fabric Paint and give your bag a cactus motif that reminds you of summer fun all year round. Getting a little wild is never a bad idea (not usually anyway), especially when it comes to your makeup bag or clutch. Create zigzag motifs in electric dimensional colors for a custom bag that's super easy to make but looks like you snatched it up from a store.
Rainbow Hand Lettered Canvas
This weather has me wishing I can nap until the weekend, but until then I will just be day dreaming at my desk. This cute little canvas is giving me all the feels right now, it’s so cute and colorful for spring. It's easy to make with Tulip’s Permanent Fabric Markers. What you need: Tulip Multi Fine 20pk Permanent Fabric Markers8x10 CanvasCardstockX-acto KnifeTape Hand lettering can be challenging and honestly a little intimidating but it’s easy to get this look with a few simple tricks. I drew directly on to the cardstock with a pencil but you can print out your quote in whatever font you like and transfer it onto the cardstock. Once the quote is on the cardstock, you can cut it out with an X-acto knife. When choosing a font its better if it’s more on the bold side because if the font is to thin it can be difficult to cut out. The reason I cut my quote out on cardstock is because it works very well as a stencil so I can reuse it more than once. Next place the cut out quote over the canvas and use the fabric markers to color in the quote in your favorite colors. You can tape down the sides to ensure the cardstock stays in place while you are working. Once you are done remove the cardstock off the canvas to reveal the magic. This would be so cute in your room, a locker, or to go above your desk. It would be also super cute to give as a gift.
