Time in the garden is time well spent! Before you plant those seeds and pot those plants, Norx in the Know will inspire you to make your potting bench as grand as your garden with COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint. Get out there and give your green thumb a boost with some extra color!

What you need:

- COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint – desired colors (Shark!!! & Head in the Clouds shown)

- Potting bench

- Shelving for bench

- Drop cloth

- Sandpaper (optional)

Choose spray paint colors for your bench

Maybe you have a color scheme for your garden, or maybe you just want a potting bench that doesn’t look worn out; either way, choose spray paint colors that’ll make you want to get out and show your plants some extra love this summer!

Lightly sand bench and shelves before painting

Before getting started, remove any hardware that you don’t want painted, and lightly sand the bench and shelves if they have slick surfaces to give the spray paint some texture to grip onto. Wipe everything down with a damp, lint-free cloth and let dry.

Optional: spray with Primer first

Optional: You can prep the pieces with Primer first if you’d like. (COLORSHOT has primer in the paint already – but sometimes extra primer can help, depending on the kind of material you are painting).

Spray several light coats onto bench and shelves

Thoroughly shake and prep your spray paints, and in a well-ventilated area, spray several light coats of your chosen colors onto the bench and shelves, letting dry between coats. Once you’re happy with the coverage, let the paint dry and cure completely before setting up in your garden.
