DIY Fall Bucket List Photo Banner with Fabric Markers
Make a little room for fall fun and the memories that come with it! This DIY Fall Bucket List Photo Banner starts with a canvas banner, your favorite seasonal activities and colorful details drawn with Tulip fabric markers. Create a photo box for each adventure, then leave the boxes empty until each activity is complete. As you check off your list, use Aleene's Instant Tacky Putty to adhere a photo inside the matching box. By the end of the season, your bucket list becomes a personalized display of fall memories! Supplies: Tulip Fabric Paint Markers Tulip Graffiti Fabric Markers Aleene's Instant Tacky Putty Large canvas banner Pencil Ribbons & trims (optional) Pro Tip Slide a piece of cardboard under the canvas before you draw so Tulip fabric marker ink doesn't bleed through to your work surface. How to Make It: 1. Plan Your Fall Adventures Lay your canvas banner flat and lightly sketch "Fall Bucket List" across the top with a pencil, then plan a box for each activity. Leave a space beneath each box for the activity name. Use the size of your intended photo prints as a guide so each box has room for a photo. 2. Add Color and Bucket List Details Use Tulip fabric markers to trace your heading, outline the photo boxes and write an activity name beside or beneath each one. Mix lettering styles and fall-inspired colors, then add small seasonal doodles around the boxes for a personal touch. 3. Make Memories and Fill Your Banner Display your banner and start enjoying the activities on your fall bucket list. After each adventure, print a favorite photo and use Aleene's Instant Tacky Putty to adhere the photo to your canvas. Are you making a bucket list banner for your goals? How to DIY Monochrome Magic Pumpkin Purses
Turn classic orange plastic-handled pumpkins into chic, monotone statement purses with just a few colorful craft supplies! A coat of COLORSHOT gives each pumpkin a sleek, head-to-toe hue, while Tulip Puff Paint and sparkling gems add playful texture and plenty of bling. Finish with a coordinating fabric strap, and these trick-or-treat favorites are ready to carry from costume parties to Halloween outings! Supplies Needed: COLORSHOT Premium Fabric Paints Tulip Puff Paints Liquid Fusion Performance Adhesive Aleene’s Spray Sealer in finish of choice Plastic pumpkin buckets Embellishments like rhinestones, crystals and colored gems Fabric straps Carabiners Plastic table cover Step 1: Prep the pumpkins Cover your work surface with a plastic table cover. Remove any tags, make sure the plastic pumpkin containers are clean and dry, and keep the lids and handles in place so every visible surface can be transformed into one seamless color. Step 2: Spray on a monotone makeover In a well-ventilated area, spray the pumpkin, lid and plastic handle with your chosen COLORSHOT paint color. Apply several light, even coats for smooth coverage, allowing each coat to dry before adding the next. Let the painted pumpkin dry completely. Finish with an Aleene’s Sealer in finish of choice. Let dry completely. Step 3: Add dimensional details Use Tulip Puff Paint in a coordinating shade to trace the pumpkin’s grooves, outline the face or create dots, swirls and other raised accents. Keep the design tone-on-tone for a stylish monotone finish, then allow the paint to dry completely. Step 4: Bring on the bling Plan your embellishment placement, then use Liquid Fusion Performance Adhesive to attach rhinestones, crystals and colored gems. Cluster them around the eyes, scatter them across the surface or follow the raised paint details for extra sparkle. Let the adhesive cure completely. Step 5: Attach the purse strap Remove original plastic handle from pumpkin. Clip a carabiner onto each side of the pumpkin’s handle, then attach the ends of the fabric strap. Adjust the strap to your preferred length, check that every connection is secure and get ready to show off your one-of-a-kind pumpkin purse! How are you decorating your Halloween accessories?
